Well, hello.

Imagine seeing you here.

This is my ever-present, pretty-much updated online space. Long ago I called it “send caffeine” (with a newborn, it seemed funny at the time). Then it became “Your Part Matters” — still true, by the way. “jeffshuck.com” isn’t exactly an attention-grabber, but it seems easiest to remember.

Most of my current writing is housed at Plenty, although I do occasionally post here. My music meanderings are on Spotify and Apple Music, among other places — see below for more.

I’d love to connect – pick your network of choice below.

Connections

A couple of years ago I went through a big social media cleanse after posting a rant about Facebook and I left … zzzz … what? Sorry, I was just scrolling through my feed. Hahaha, oh the folly of youth.

No, I never quite gave it up, but I will say I put it all in healthy perspective. You can catch up with me here:

I have three projects in various states of development under different names.

Over the last several years, I’ve been having fun releasing retro pop under the name One Room Schoolhouse. What if Marshall Crenshaw breaks up with New Order in the Apple Store? Fun, upbeat, synth-y, tongue firmly in cheek. More >

For Plenty, I write the music for our series of mindful leadership meditations. Calming, instrumental, healing, uplifting. More >

Under Jeff Shuck, I have published straight-ahead piano singer-songwriter material mostly recorded in the late 1990’s when I was playing and gigging full time. Acoustic, piano jazz pop, lyrical, overly earnest. More >
